Those seeking refuge from the harder, better, faster, stronger synthetic aesthetic of most nocturnal emissaries should have found what they're looking for in the Sleepwalker exhibition currently on at Artspace. Mutability may still be the word of the day here, but gone is the noise of techno smear; and if that was something that found its raison d'être in the 200rpm serotonin-caresses of E-hopping, then video artists Clemens von Wedemeyer and Aernout Mik are the equivalent of a tab dropped in a wilderness clearing during the middle of the night; they thrive on obscured clarity and streamlined disorder.
