New Zealand's Greatest Outdoor Movie Night
Media Release | February 8th, 2006
The highly anticipated inaugural Moonlight Shorts outdoor final is coming to Coyle Park, Point Chevalier on Sat March 4th. Over this hot summer, more than 100 teams from around New Zealand created a short film.
From all the shorts entered, just twelve will be chosen to screen on the giant inflatable screen under the southern stars. And only one film can be crowned Moonlight Shorts Best Short for 2006, winning a prize pack that includes their film being blown-up for cinema release courtesy of Park Road Post, with an eventual screening on C4 television.
The outdoor final is a 100% free event with everyone welcome to come along and support NZ's finest new filmmaking talent.
There will be some tough decisions to make in choosing the winners, fortunately Moonlight Shorts has wisely enlisted some of the keenest minds around to help make the tricky decisions. [see Judges List below]
The public are encouraged to come early and bag a prime spot, then laze around having an early picnic dinner and maybe even listen to some groovy DJ sets by Camilla Martin and others.
