About the Producers

Melinda Jackson is Producer of Out of the Mist, Land of the Long White Stain and Paper Boat. Freelancing in production, editing, casting and assistant directing, she has produced for music, corporate and promotional videos, as well as two short films that have screened in festivals both locally and internationally (The Small Movements and Mou Piri: A Rarotongan Love Song). She lives in New York City.

Tim Wong is Writer and Director of Out of the Mist, Series Producer of The Lumière Reader presents, and Founding Editor of The Lumière Reader. He’s a former Publications Editor for the New Zealand International Film Festival (2016–20), co-editor of The Gosden Years (Te Herenga Waka University Press, 2021), an archivist for Aotearoa Asian artists platform Satellites, and Senior Designer & Brand Manager at Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival.
